SORIC® core layer nonwoven is a pressure-resistant and temperature-resistant core layer material made of polyester fibres with hollow microbeads. It contains integrated channels in which the resin can flow horizontally and vertically. SORIC® is the ideal core material for lightweight sandwich components that must be manufactured using the resin injection process. SORIC® retains its dimensional stability even under pressure. At 1 bar, the compression is < 15% (except SORIC® TF top finish)! Due to its cell structure, SORIC® is easily drapable.
