Aramid honeycomb

Core material made of NOMEX® paper, impregnated with phenolic resin. Aramid honeycomb is one of the lightest and most stable sandwich materials. It is flame-retardant, dimensionally stable under heat and moisture, and resistant to water, oils and fuels. The main application areas include aerospace, motor racing and mechanical engineering.
