Aluminium honeycomb

Aluminium honeycomb is a lightweight material for structural components with particularly high strength and rigidity.
The material is corrosion-resistant, thermally conductive and temperature-resistant. Due to its mouldability, it can absorb high energies. Consequently, sandwich structures with an aluminium honeycomb core are also increasingly used in crash elements.
